hello
About me
I am Apoorvee Singhal, currently a senior at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, studying Business Administration with focuses in Finance and Business Law, along with a Minor in Writing.

I was born in New Delhi, India, but grew up in the charming island-country of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the Middle East. Moving to Ann Arbor was certainly an adjust, but these four years have given me a place to reflect, recognize, and acknowledge my identities, backgrounds, and experiences.

Through this project, I want to take you all on a journey to explore some of the intricacies that we face as women in the Indian society.
Feel free to wander across, skip through, or actually take the time to read my portfolio and I hope you all enjoy it! :)

About this site
This website is primarily my Minor in Writing Capstone Project, consisting of a three-part podcast series, titled "Breaking Through." My Story is a personal reflection on the themes explored in the podcasts.

Additionally, you can check out my Gateway Project, titled "The Big Fat Indian Wedding," and Other Works from my undergraduate coursework.

Having grown up in an Indian community and household, both my Capstone and Gateway are inspired from my personal experiences.
