Who am I?

Hi everyone!

My name is Apoorvee Singhal and I officially welcome you to my portfolio! This portfolio contains my major Minor in Writing project ("major Minor" -- see what I did here? Haha) and a reflection about the process.

So here is a little bit about myself:

I am a junior at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, pursuing Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Accounting, and a Minor in Writing. One of the most interesting questions that most people have asked me is why a Minor in Writing when I am studying business. I always think about it in this way: Writing and business are two significant complements that contribute towards the success of any person in a corporate world. I imagine myself being in the world of finance where effective and concise communication is an element that many people tend to forget about.

Overall, writing is important and significant to me since it helps me to not only put out my opinions and share my feelings about social, political, cultural news and topics, but also helps me explore the intricacies within the art of writing. Writing, for me, is articulating and synthesizing personal thoughts into a piece of detailed value and structure where I can touch my audience through my words.

That's enough about me! Feel free to wander across, skip through, or actually take the time to read my portfolio and I hope you all enjoy it! :)
